Terms of use

In short

Free for personal use. Commercial use by arrangement.

What needs no permission

• Setting an image as the wallpaper of your computer, laptop, tablet or phone.
• Printing one for yourself and hanging it at home.
• Showing it to friends, sending a link to the subject page.
• Using it in a personal blog or post, with a link to okoem.net next to it.

What has to be agreed first

• Any use that earns money: advertising, merchandise, decorating venues, prints for sale, backgrounds inside paid products and courses.
• Use as part of someone else’s product or service, including training models.
• Publishing under your own name, without stating where the image came from.

What is not allowed

• Reselling the files as your own or publishing them as your own work.
• Presenting the images as photographs of real places. These are watercolours, and in The Russian Landscape the places are invented as well.
• Stripping file metadata: it records where the image came from.

About the origin of the images

The images are made with artificial intelligence in the artist’s own style, selected by hand, upscaled and cut to screen resolutions. More on the about page.
